Birds (Fowls) with Scavenger Tendencies:

**Scavenger – a bird or animal that feeds on dead animals that it has not killed itself - https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/scavenger

The Duck, Seagull, Chicken, and Turkey; yes, even the chicken and the turkey are birds with scavenger tendencies! The Duck is an omnivore and the reason it was placed under this category was due to its diet. Its diet consist of “mostly fish but also amphibians, reptiles as well as small rodents.” Source: Water Birds (desertmuseum.org) Also, Seagulls are omnivores and a scavenger; its diet is this “The food taken by gulls includes fish and marine and freshwater invertebrates, both alive and already dead; terrestrial arthropods and invertebrates such as insects and earthworms; rodents, eggs, carrion, offal, reptiles, amphibians, seeds, fruit, human refuse, and even other birds.” Source: Gull - Wikipedia

The Extremely Popular (common) Fowl: The Chicken!!!

What did the Most HIGH told us in the book of Job 9:24? “The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?” This is not to be taken lightly!!! The wicked came to rule without the Laws of GOD, and this includes the Dietary Law because they weren’t given the Laws, Statutes, Judgments, and Commandments!!! This means that the wicked won’t and don’t care if GOD’s chosen people break His Laws; it is all about making a profit and continuous ruler ship for vain glory!

The other common white meat is chicken that most people consume everyday has been concluded to have scavenger tendencies. Chickens “were not kept for food” until around the emerging time of the Roman Empire (a huge red flag) which confirms that GOD’s people were never eating this particular fowl prior to being conquered by the Greeks & Romans (Greco-Roman era). And even though the name chicken/rooster is not specifically listed as one of the unclean fowls in the Torah (Law), it is also not specifically listed as one of the clean fowls either. It is obvious that the list for clean fowls was not specified as though it had been purposely removed. However, this is where our knowledge and understanding from our Creator comes in (study to show thyself approve unto GOD)!

**Please read this short article below on the origin of chicken consumption:

https://www.cacklehatchery.com/archaeologists-find-possible-origin-of-chicken-consumption/

Please read this article link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken - The chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus) is a type of domesticated fowl, a subspecies of the red junglefowl (Gallus gallus). They are one of the most common and widespread domestic animals, with a total population of more than 19 billion as of 2011. There are more chickens in the world than any other bird or domesticated fowl.[1] Humans keep chickens primarily as a source of food (consuming both their meat and eggs) and, less commonly, as pets. Originally raised for cockfighting or for special ceremonies, chickens were not kept for food until the Hellenistic period (4th–2nd centuries BC).[2] [3]

Hellenistic Period (Grecia/Greek) … – The Hellenistic period covers the period of Mediterranean history between the death of Alexander the Great in 323 BC and the emergence of the Roman Empire as signified by the Battle of Actium in 31 BC[1] and the conquest of Ptolemaic Egypt the following year.[2] The Ancient Greek word Hellas (Ἑλλάς, Ellás) is the original word for Greece, from which the word Hellenistic was derived.[3]

Just like a lot of things in the world, the original name has changed and given another for a particular reason, but usually to hide something. The given domesticated name (Chicken) is actually referring to the baby of the fowl; a chick for short or a peep. The male is called a rooster or cock and the female a hen (all-female fowls are called hens). However, chicken is not its original name; its name is Gallus Montanusv (Mountain Cock) aka Junglefowl (red junglefowl) that was domesticated for human consumption (Gallus Domesticus or Domestic Cock).

Also, when some things are common it is popular or easily accessible/affordable to the masses (i.e. chicken, pork, tuna, etc.). According to the scriptures, our ancestors ate Doves, Pigeons, Quails, and Partridges. The children of Israel were shepherds/herdsmen raising cattle, sheep, and goats (John 2:13-16), a fowler (hunts clean fowl), and farmers/husbandmen (agriculturists) who sowed and reaped fruits, greens, and grains; nothing mentioned about raising (domesticating) any fowl; they hunted clean fowls. Example scripture in 1st Samuel 26:20!

Please read the articles below including the one which shows the reasons for Beak Trimming!

***Reasons for Beak-trimming - Next Links Below:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poultry_farming

Beak trimming[edit] Main article: Debeaking

“Laying hens are routinely beak-trimmed at 1 day of age to reduce the damaging effects of aggression, feather pecking, and cannibalism. Scientific studies have shown that beak trimming is likely to cause both acute and chronic pain.[42][43][44][45][46][47] Severe beak trimming, or beak trimming birds at an older age, may cause chronic pain. Following beak trimming of older or adult hens, the nociceptors in the beak stump show abnormal patterns of neural discharge, indicating acute pain.”[42][48][49][50] - Source: Wikipedia.org

This article shows that scavenging is in their DNA: https://www.thehappychickencoop.com/what-do-baby-chicks-eat/***“These are a list of birds that have scavenger tendencies:

**Scavenger – a bird or animal that feeds on dead animals that it has not killed itself - https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/scavenger

**Carrion - Carrion (from Latin caro, meaning "meat") is the decaying flesh of dead animals, including human flesh. Carrion is an important food source for large carnivores and omnivores in most ecosystems. Examples of carrion-eaters (or scavengers) include vultures, condors, hawks, eagles,[1] hyenas,[2] Virginia opossum,[3] Tasmanian devils,[4] coyotes[5], and Komodo dragons. Many invertebrates, such as the carrion and burying beetles,[6] as well as maggots of calliphorid flies (such as one of the most important species in Calliphora vomitoria) and flesh-flies, also eat carrion, playing an important role in recycling nitrogen and carbon in animal remains.

Please read the three articles below regarding the ingredients in a chicken feed which also include lard (pork fat) and other animal parts; not to mention the popular GMO-grown corn & soy.

If the chicken was made clean, the ingredients in a chicken feed alone should cause a Law-keeper to pause!!!

Those specifically used in poultry diets include meat (no bone) or meat and bone meal from ruminants and/or swine; blood meal; poultry by-product meal; feather meal; and fish meal.”

The 2nd Popular (common) fowl is the domesticated Turkey (same as the Wild Turkey)!

Although wild turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo) have a diet primarily of vegetation, they will eat insects, mice, lizards, and amphibians, wading in water to hunt for the latter. Domestic hens (Gallus domesticus) share this opportunistic behaviour and will eat insects, mice, worms, and amphibians.

Please read this important article regarding the comparison of Wild Turkey and the Domesticated (supermarket) Turkey (Special Breeding - Red Flag/Not Natural): https://www.moultrienews.com/news/the-difference-between-wild-and-domestic-turkeys/article_60d7a616-105a-11ea-8197-a30c013f16eb.html

The wild turkey behavior is very similar to the chicken; in conclusion, the turkey has scavenger tendencies and is not suitable for consumption. As always, please do your own research!
